Rick began his extensive wine collection with the intent of enjoying and learning about it as a hobby. When he found himself with over 2000 bottles and the crazy thought that it might not be a great idea to drink them all by himself, he opened Brix.
Rick & his wife, Sharon, think of Brix as their "living room." It's a casual place to relax and enjoy some great wine & beer, fantastic food, and terrific company. Conversations often become communal, and Rick is there to share his extensive knowledge of wine and beer, or a funny story if you prefer (no doubt about "the old days" when he probably would have consumed 2000 bottles of wine!).
Customers are not strangers at Brix ~ they are Rick's guests, and he makes sure everyone has a good time.
